Latin Literature Studies

Weekly readings from and discussions of the works of Classical and Medieval authors in English. No prior knowledge of Latin language is required, but reference to and light study of the Latin texts will be made. Featured authors include Plautus, Ceasar, Livy, Ovid, Augustine, Bede and Peter Comestor.

Notes: REQUIRED TEXT: Students will use on-line editions of the assigned readings through Project Gutenberg, located at

PARKING: Information on hourly rates for parking at land lots, the parking garage, day permits and workshop permits can be found at or by calling 426-1681, located at 1001 Lincoln (corner of Lincoln & University). Lincoln Street Garage - Class location is on the east side of campus (Includes the Liberal Arts building and the east side of campus). Brady Street Garage - Class location is on the west side of campus (Excludes the Liberal Arts building but includes the remainder of the west side of campus).
